About Us
Patchworks is a visual archive of alternative music culture, reimagined through the language of beer-label design.
The collection translates moments from modern music history into graphic artefacts inspired by brewery labels from different regions, eras, and traditions. Each piece distils a specific atmosphere — a place, a time, an attitude — and renders it as a tactile, collectible object.
Originally conceived at table-top scale, the works are intended to be framed, arranged, and lived with. When displayed together, they form a grid that sits somewhere between a gallery wall, a record-sleeve archive, and a pub memory.
The collection is divided into era-based series, each comprising nine designs. Individually, they function as standalone graphic studies; collectively, they form a broader visual narrative of music culture across decades.
This is not merchandise.
It is design-led reinterpretation — familiar, but reworked.
Patchworks is an independent design project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any artists, labels, or brands.
